Counting chambers are instruments for precise measuring. They are made of special optical glass and serve to determine the number of particles in liquids.

In-vitro diagnostic applications generally require duplicate determinations. Consequently, our counting chambers for investigations of cell suspensions are equipped with 2 sets of grids. These counting grids are engraved into 2 ground and polished surfaces on the central ridge.This central ridge is located between 2 elevated also ground and polished ridges. A cover glass with a thickness of 0.4 mm is placed on top of these 2 outer ridges. This cover glass limits the examined volumes above the counting grids.
